Established in 1972, we have stood the test of time and what better endorsement for client relations than clients who we've worked with for over 20 years?
We work with our clients as partners and see ourselves as a trustworthy extension to their team. Those new to IDC will follow well-honed stages to build this partnership.
Simply call or email us and tell us as much as you can about your project. We have a standard non-disclosure agreement to provide peace of mind and assure confidentiality at this early stage.
A face to face meeting is useful to fully understand how IDC can help, along with a written brief about the project requirements. Potential clients are welcome to meet the team and visit our facilities. Alternatively, we can arrange a site visit; this can be particularly helpful if the product is to be manufactured on site, or you have previous generations of the product available to view.
Once the team is sure about the scope of the project, we will produce a written proposal. Using our extensive project management experience and planning knowledge, we will identify the best development programme for the product. This will identify high risk parts of the project and ways to address these early on in the development, to save expense at a later stage.
Our proposals typically break the project into a series of phases with key activities and deliverables. This limits risk as the project is managed on a step-by-step basis. We aim to give a fixed cost where possible for these phases, but where details are unknown, will supply estimates which are confirmed as soon as information is available.
The proposal forms part of the commercial agreement between IDC and the client.
