IDC China welcomes new Design Engineer Sebastien Frys

French Design Engineer, Sebastien Frys joins the IDC China team with experience working in China, the UK and France. He has an extensive background in engineering and technology. His specialisms include mechatronics systems, human machine interaction and user experience design.

Sebastien has worked for Xerox in the UK, ISIR (Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique) and Intuilab in France. His latest role before joining IDC was Product Engineer for Marjane Holdings, where he worked with Chinese suppliers intimately, to help develop a new brand of home appliances.

Sebastien’s most interesting experience has been to design and build autonomous robotic systems. He developed sophisticated, award winning robotic and interactive systems, from early concept through to the fully functional final product (see below image).

Sebastien believes technology can be used to create useful products that users like. Building these products requires a perfect combination of design, mechanical engineering and electronics to ensure clients benefit from substantial cost savings.

Sebastien’s technical background and his multi-national working experience will help IDC to develop better products for our clients, using smart technical solutions.
